Welcome!

This site is designed to provide practice problems for undergraduate students learning statistics with jamovi.

Each set of practice problems includes

  • a description of the study
  • a downloadable jamovi file
  • a set of questions (open-ended or multiple choice)
  • and answers that include explanations of how to use jamovi and interpret the output

Real Data with a Focus on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

These practice problems all use real data from published studies, and most of the studies are related to issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Using real data sets of interest to students helps students see the relevance of statistics and encourages them to engage with the material (Neumann et al., 2013).

These data sets were made available by the original researchers as part of engaging in open science: the practice of making science transparent, open, and accessible.
